Spring 2025
Spring is our main season, where we offer programs from K thru 8th grade, fielding multiple teams per age-level with most competing in the West Bay Lacrosse League, a community-based recreational lacrosse league which includes a highly competitive "select" division. For 3rd grade and up, the season runs from February until mid-May, with two weekday practices and 1-2 weekend games starting in March. Younger programs run from March until mid-May with practice 1 day a week and some weekend games (1st & 2nd only).

Kindercrosse
- Co-ed non-contact instructional clinic
- Sticks provided, run with soft balls
- 8 practices starting in March
- Cost: $450
U8 (1st & 2nd Grade)
- Boys & Girls teams
- 8 Practices starting in March
- 1 game most weekends starting late March
- Cost: $500 + $75 uniform kit
U10 (3rd & 4th Grade)
- Boys & Girls teams including Select teams
- 2 practices a week starting in February
- 1-2 Games per weekend starting in March
- Cost: $675 + $75 uniform kit
U12 (5th & 6th Grade)
- Boys & Girls teams including Select teams
- 2 practices a week starting in February
- 1-2 Games per weekend starting in March
- Cost: $775 + $75 uniform kit
U14 (7th & 8th Grade)
- Boys & Girls teams including Select teams
- 2 practices a week starting in February
- 1-2 Games per weekend starting in March
- Cost: $775 + $75 uniform kit
Select Team Assessment Dates
Assessments are for our Spring Select teams in U10, U12 and U14 age groups (‘Select’ is a new league wide rebranding of what used to be our Riptide Black level teams). If you are not interested in playing for our Select teams, you do not need to attend assessments.
Assessments dates:
Main date: Sunday 11/24 starting at 3:30pm at Paul Goode field
Make-up date(s): TBD Week of 12/2-12/6 (likely Tue starting @4pm)
We’ll provide more details on timing per age group & gender, and the make-up date(s) as we get closer and fully secure the field space.
We ask that players on our Select teams prioritize lacrosse as an activity in the Spring, and we require that you attend one (and only one) assessment for consideration. If you absolutely cannot, please contact girlsdirector@sfriptide.com or boysdirector@sfriptide.com and we’ll see what we can do to help.
